Jenny Hastings, Co-Chair, Communication Subcommittee

Jenny Hastings completed the Biotechnology program in 2013, prior to attending the University of Minnesota, where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Nutrition. Jenny collaborated on research and published a scientific manuscript in the Journal of Infectious Disease Therapy while at the UMN Food Science lab. She now works at General Mills in Quality and Regulatory operations, supporting Food Safety. In her spare time, she volunteers at a local animal rescue and foster and find loving homes for dogs in the Twin Cities.


Sarah Myhrom Eisenman, Secretary

Sarah has a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and is currently finishing her Master's of Biological Science at the U of M.  For her thesis she conducted research on aspects of the Sleeping Beauty transposon system. Her undergraduate studies included regulatory affairs regarding the application of the United States Code to the pharmaceutical industry. She lives in Minneapolis and works at a patent law firm in Woodbury.
